If Only Mormons would RESEARCH these 10 Questions...

And by “research,” I mean through NON-LDS controlled sources.

As a former Mormon (see my brief background below), these are the Top 10 Questions I would humbly and highly plead with all Mormons to RESEARCH and find the FACTS, not their feelings, about each of these questions. These are the questions you should know the answers to, independent of any one else whether from a prophet or a podcaster.

Find the FACTS.

Put aside your feelings.

Feelings lie.

Jesus never tells us to follow our feelings or our hearts. In fact, it’s just the opposite. We are told in Jeremiah 17:9:

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick, who can understand it?"

Jesus repeatedly called people to follow Him and obey His commands, rather than following their own internal emotional feelings, impulses or desires.

I am asking you to do the same—especially if you are LDS/Mormon. Discover the truth, via FACTS, for yourself about the ROOTS of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, especially its planter/founder, Joseph Smith.

Jesus declared in Matthew 15:13-14:

“Every plant which My heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted. Leave them alone; they are blind guides of blind people. And if a person who is blind guides another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.”

And Jesus warned us the many times about FALSE prophets and THEIR teachings:

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." Matthew 7:15
“See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will mislead many people.” Matthew 24:4
"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many." Matthew 24:11
"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." Matthew 24:24
"Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees [i.e. religious leaders]." Matthew 16:6
“He began to say to his disciples first of all, ‘Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees [i.e. religious leaders], which is hypocrisy.’" Luke 12:1

Did you catch that??

Jesus warns us 3 times in the same sermon in Matthew 24 about false prophets! It must be pretty important!

These 10 questions are specifically for LDS/Mormons to (hopefully) EXPOSE a seed that was never planted by God and to EXPOSE false prophets who are wearing sheep’s clothing and deceiving and leading many away with the leaven they preach (and yes, I was one of those who was led astray).

Please, please, please prayerfully RESEARCH these questions for the FACTS and decide if you are being led away from the TRUTHS of Jesus Christ by false prophets who have come in sheep’s clothing but are ravenous wolves leading you astray.  Because if so, Jesus says that you too will “fall into a pit.”

Apparently, there is no excuse if you are deceived…OUCH!

My Brief Background

I am providing this background so you will know that I am only attacking from “outside” of the LDS Church because I was once “inside” of it, and I believed it all too—hook, line, and sinker. Satan got me good!!!

I was born and raised a Mormon for the first 54 years of my life—never veered away, questioned or rebelled. I was a “Molly Mormon” who lived all the laws of the LDS Church including:

No swearing.

No cussing.

No coffee.

No tea.

No caffeine.

No alcohol.

No drugs.

No R-rated movies.

No tattoos.

No clubbing.

No partying.

No dancing.

No piercings (other than the ears).

No pre-marital sex.

Do you get the picture?

Heck, I just knew I had found Jesus “in the only true and living church!” I was never leaving!

Finally, at the ripe old age of 42 (still a virgin), I was “sealed to my eternal companion and prepared for the Celestial World” in the Mt. Timpanogos temple (where I was NOT excited about polygamy! But I decided to just worry about that later—God would provide).

My entire Mormon life, up until the age of 54, I did everything asked of me:

  • I attended ALL my church meetings every week,

  • faithfully held callings in all the female organizations,

  • went to the temple,

  • worked in the Jordan River temple,

  • paid my tithing since the age of 10,

  • paid a generous fast offering,

  • did my monthly visiting teaching/ministering,

  • attended church activities,

  • participated in church service projects,

  • went to Ward temple night,

  • cleaned the building on Saturday mornings,

  • cleaned the temple in the wee hours of the morning,

  • clothed my dead mother in her temple garments, and

  • did everything else the LDS Church demanded of me.

Around the age of 45, I started to feel a void—like I was missing something—and I kept asking God,

“Is this it? Is this all there is except to maybe one day be one of the chosen few to have my ‘calling and election made sure’? Have I checked off all the boxes and now I just 'endure to the end'?”

I continued on in my life, trusting that I was doing everything God wanted me to do.

BUT I couldn’t help but wonder if I was missing something…

[Actually, I was missing some ONE, but I didn’t recognize it at the time.]

I wanted more.

I wanted to EXPRESS something.

I wanted to WORSHIP Jesus

I wanted to PRAISE God—

After all, wasn’t I going to “His only true church?” Didn’t He deserve my worship and my praise for all that He did for me in dying on the cross and paying for my sins?

But every week I went to church, I never felt like we were praising or worshiping God.

Not even in the temple. We’d just watch a movie, go through the “sacred” signs, tokens, names, and oaths/covenants of the priesthoods, and then end up sitting in the Celestial room after “passing thru the veil” and giving all the “keywords, signs, names and tokens."

It baffled me.

Why didn’t it seem like I was worshiping God if I was a member of His “only true church,” had received all the “sacred” ordinances in the temple, and was doing everything else He’s told us to do through His prophets to receive exaltation in the highest degree of glory, the Celestial kingdom?

Well, in May 2024, I made a DRAMATIC decision.

I FIRED EVERYONE IN MY EARS.

Yup. I FIRE EVERYONE in my life I was listening to—from prophets to podcasters.

NO MORE OUTSIDE VOICES.

Each and every day I read from the words of Jesus and HIS teachings as contained in the 4 gospels of the Bible through a process I call Reading for Revelation (R4R).  As I did that, I began to learn and uncover so many LIES—lies that I had been told and taught to be TRUE. [I teach that process on my website here]

Fast forward 8 months to January 2025 when I had a decision to make:

1)    I could either follow Jesus and continue to do what He was asking me to do (which was to teach R4R to others),

OR

2)    I could keep my mouth shut by NOT teaching R4R and remain a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

If I tried to both, I would be excommunicated because I had already been “warned.”

You see, in November or December 2024, a secret church court had been held against me regarding the R4R class I had been teaching in my community. I was issued a warning from the Stake President, delivered by the Bishop, on December 15 to stop teaching that class and fall back in line as to what my “stewardship” was and what I had been “authorized” to do, or NOT do in my case.

I had not been "authorized" by the LDS Church to teachthat class. And that is true.

Jesus authorized me.

I was in AGONY over what to do—but I wanted to follow Jesus so He told me to resign from the church “because you have done nothing wrong, and that church is not of Me.”

WHAT??!!

How could that church not be of Him when it is “His only true and living church?”

Needless to say, the day I resigned from the LDS Church, January 15,2025, four heavenly confirmations were made to me that my decision was right, and it began the most wonderful, miraculous, incredible journey of my life! And it hasn’t stopped! I haven’t stopped seeking Jesus, and these 10 questions are what Jesus has taught me as I've sought Him for answers.

Purpose of the 10 Questions:

As a former Mormon, I continue to ask myself (even to this day) questions like:

  • Where did I go wrong?

  • Why did I not see the TRUTH (which is so obvious now)?

  • How could I have been so misled, so blinded?

  • What questions would I have wanted someone to ask me to help me find out the TRUTH about that religion?

  • Would I have even listened to them?

Probably not.

If I’m being honest, I probably would not have listened to anyone trying to show me “proof” that the religion I believed in was wrong. So I don't blame the people who have "unfriended" or "unfollowed" me because I would have done the same thing prior to May 2024.

That’s because:

1)    I was too indoctrinated/programed/mind controlled with LDS beliefs.

2)    There was no internet for me to easily research things on my own.

3)    I was certain I had already found the truth. (I was guilty of the Sin of Certainty.)

Simply attacking my beliefs and telling me I’d been deceived would NOT have worked.

In fact, NO THING would have worked unless I FIRST decided to FIRE everyone else in my ears and SECOND decided to spend 30-60 minutes ALONE each day with a physical Bible reading the words of Jesus in the 4 gospels.

[Note, I did NOT read anything else from the Bible. No Paul letters. No Acts or Hebrews. No Peter. No I, II, or III John. No Jude. No Revelation. No OT books. Only the words, teachings and works of Jesus from the 4 gospel accounts in the New Testament. No BOM. No D&C. No PofGP. No General Conference Addresses. No LDS church manual. No Teachings of the Prophets. ONLY THE 4 GOSPELS. It was just me, God and His Holy Spirit in the 4 testaments of Jesus' mortal ministry.]

During that time, Jesus taught me about ROOTS. And about FRUITS.

He told me to research the ROOTS of Mormonism. So, I did, and I have not stopped.

These 10 questions are designed to have you research the ROOTS of Mormonism. The ROOTS of Joseph Smith. And then to decide if these SEEDS were PLANTED by the One and Only Everlasting True God…or another person who wants to surPLANT God and take His place.

Remember.

  1. Search for the FACTS and push aside your feelings.

  2. Do your best to DELETE all programing, interpretations, and words from others.

  3. PRAY AND ASK GOD for the Holy Spirit to guide you in your research while you begin to feast upon the words of ONLY JESUS in the 4 gospels.

I have already been praying and petitioning Father to pour out His Holy Spirit upon you in your journey to lead you to all truth—to His Son, Jesus Christ because:

Only Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

May you find HIS truth as your humbly research and consider the possibility that you have been lied to…just consider it as you seek for God’s truth.

Here are the Top 10 ROOT Questions to RESEARCH re: Mormonism:

QUESTION #1:    Which of the 4 versions of the 1st Vision that Joseph Smith recorded do you believe is true because they all contradict each other?

Quick Facts:

There are around 8 different versions of the "First Vision" that have been found to have been written down, but only 4 of them contain any of Joseph's own handwriting or found in his personal journal or signed by him. It is only these versions I will quickly compare.

The first version of the 1st vision that Joseph ever wrote down was in 1832, 12 years after he said it happened in 1820. This is the ONLY version containing substantial writing in Joseph’s own hand. In this version, he mentions seeing only ONE being, not two, being concerned about his sins, NOT what church to join, and there is no “attack” by the enemy or mention of James 1:5. He was simply told that his sins had been forgiven.

The second account was recorded in 1835 when Joseph told the story to Robert Matthews, and Robert recorded it in Joseph’s journal. That account states, “I saw many angels in this vision,” which is not included in any other version. Per this account, he was confused about religion, acknowledges the principle of “asking God,” hears a noise, sees TWO personages plus “many angels” but one did not introduce the other, and the main message he received revolved around forgiveness, not what church to join.

The third version, written in 1838, is the one the LDS Church chooses to believe, teach, and install in people’s minds because it has all of the “key elements” needed to start a new religion/church:

  • Joseph questioning which church is true and which one to join

  • Explicitly states that it had “never entered into [his] heart that all were wrong,” [this statement causes a major variance with the 1832 version]

  • James 1:5 is listed as the hinge scripture for Joseph to go and “ask.”

  • Contains the most dramatic supernatural demonic attack from the enemy

  • Sees two personages appear and one introduces the other saying, “This is my beloved Son, hear him,”

  • The personages tell Joseph that ALL churches are wrong and to join NONE of them.

This version of Joseph's vision sets up the “perfect foundation” for starting a new church. A new religion.

The fourth account appeared in the Times and Seasons as part of the famous Wentworth Letter in 1842. I will note that it is unknown exactly how much of Joseph’s personal involvement was known, but the version was published under his signature.

The main differences with this account from 1838 are:

1) he doesn’t mention hearing any noise or having any attack from the enemy,

2) the personages do not introduce each other, and

3) they tell him all denominations are incorrect but “the fullness of the gospel should at some future time be made known unto [him]”.

So compare and contrast each of these accounts and then ask yourself:

“How could these versions be so different if he truly saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ?!”

Isn't that something you would never forget??

Why did he wait 12 years before writing anything down?

Wouldn’t SOME ONE have written SOME thing down when he claims he told other people about what he saw and they didn't believe him??

QUESTION #2:.    How much do you really know about the true character, nature, and activities of Joseph Smith and are those the kind of activities from a man called of God?

For example, how many legal allegations/charges were brought against Joseph Smith from 1826-1844 for things like:

  • Being a “disorderly person,” (defined as someone promising something they knew they couldn't deliver)

  • “Glass and seer-stone looking”

  • Money digging / treasure hunting

  • Assault and battery

  • Threatening to take a life

  • Unauthorized banking

  • Treason

  • Riot

  • Arson

  • Larceny

  • Receiving stolen goods

  • Murder

  • Attempted assassination

  • Perjury

  • Adultery and fornication

  • Rioting

Then research the number of women (married and under age) who Joseph Smith sealed himself to.

The LDS Church website admits that Joseph Smith had between 30-40 plural wives. See Question #4 re: polygamy.

Now ask yourself:

Why did the LDS Church DENY the FACT of Joseph's plural wives for so long and kept it a SECRET?

  • Why, as of today, is there NO AUTHENTICATED PHOTOGRAPH of Joseph Smith, Jr from the LDS Church? He founded the church for crying out loud--why isn't there at least ONE picture of him that has been "authenticated" by the church?

·

Now ask yourself the most serious and basic question of all:

Given the list of allegations above, is that the kind of character of a man God would use to restore His “only true church?” Are those the qualities of a man called by God to lead others?

I choose to believe, “No!”

Question #3:    How many revelations of Joseph Smith were changed between the Book of Commandments in 1833 and the Doctrine and Covenants in 1835?

  • Why would revelations need to be changed?

  • Isn't God a non-changing being--the same yesterday, today and forever?

  • Why would He give a revelation and then change it 2 years later?

  • What were those changes?

To help you answer this questions, I suggest you start with comparing the Book of Commandment chapter 4:4 to Doctrine and Covenants section 5:4-6 and understand what that change means. You can read my blog here to help you.

Question #4:    Why does the 'revelation' in D&C 132 to practice polygamy directly CONTRADICT what God declares in the Bible and the Book of Mormon?

For the sake of Mormons, I will just quote what the BOM says because it does refer to the Bible. When reading these scriptures side by side, you have to pick one. You MUST choose which ONE to believe because they contradict each other. Either the BOM is “true” OR Joseph Smith was a “true prophet.” You can’t have both. So pick one, A or B:

A.    Book of Mormon: “Behold, David and Solomon truly had many wives and concubines, which thing was abominable before me, saith the Lord. Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any man among you have save it be one wife; and concubines he shall have none.” [Jacob 2:24-27]

B.    D&C 132:38-39: “David also received many wives and concubines, and also Solomon and Moses my servants, as also many others of my servants, from the beginning of creation until this time; and in nothing did they sin save in those things which they received not of me. David’s wives and concubines were given unto him of me, by the hand of Nathan, my servant, and others of the prophets who had the keys of this power.”

Which ONE did you choose? Which LORD are you listening to?

The Lord of the Bible and the Book of Mormon specifically declare that there is only one wife to one husband. The TWO shall become ONE. Not 3 or 10 or 30 become one--TWO--one man and ONE woman.)

Old Testament:

For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24

New Testament: Jesus affirms the Old Testament Law in Mark 10:6-8:

But from the beginning of creation, God created them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh.

The Book of Mormon lines up with the Bible when it states in Jacob that the many wives and concubines of David and Solomon were "abominable" before the Lord.

But the D&C, the 'revelation' from Joseph Smith, say that they were "given" to them by the Lord.

In the Book of Mormon, the Lord abhors more than one wife and concubines, but in the D&C the Lord gives more than one wife and concubines.

So again, I ask:

Which Lord are you going to believe and choose to follow?

  1. The Lord who abhors polygamy and gives ONE wife to ONE man since the beginning of creation as recorded in Genesis and confirmed in the words of Jesus Christ?

Or

  1. The Lord who gives a man more than one wife and concubines through the words of Joseph Smith?

I know which Lord I believe and choose to follow!

QUESTION #5: What is the ROOT of LDS temple ceremonies?

Hint: RESEARCH Freemasonry. I've done a lot of research here.

In March 1842, Joseph Smith became a Master Mason in Nauvoo, Illinois. On May 4, 1842, approximately seven weeks later, he introduced the LDS temple endowment ceremony. So was it really a revelation from God, or was he just intrigued with this secret society and wanted to start one of his own?

Here are a few similarities between LDS temple ceremonies and Freemasonic rituals:

1. Secret Handshakes (Tokens): Both traditions use specific handgrips as ceremonial signs of recognition. LDS endowment ceremonies incorporated handgrips resembling those used in Masonic degrees.

2. Special Names for Handgrips: Freemasonry assigns names and meanings to its grips and tokens. LDS temple ceremonies likewise associate specific names with each token.

3. Signs and Gestures: Both traditions use prescribed hand and arm movements to represent ceremonial commitments and convey symbolic meanings.

4. Five Points of Fellowship: LDS temple ceremonies include a form of the Five Points of Fellowship, a ritual embrace also associated with traditional Master Mason ceremonies. In LDS temples, this ritual embrace is performed while at the veil.

5. Penalties Associated with Secrecy: Earlier versions of the LDS endowment included symbolic penalty gestures associated with revealing secret tokens and signs. These resembled Masonic penalties and were removed from the LDS ceremony in 1990, but they are still represented by the signs. You can read more about the history of the LDS penalties here.

6. Oaths and Covenants: Both ceremonies involve solemn promises concerning conduct, loyalty, and the protection of ritual information. Jesus has declared that we are to "TAKE NO OATHS" and you can read about that here as more proof that LDS temples are NOT of Jesus.

7. Ceremonial Aprons: Freemasons wear symbolic aprons, traditionally associated with the craft of stonemasonry. LDS temple participants wear green aprons representing the fig leaves worn by Adam and Eve.

8. Special Ceremonial Clothing: Both traditions use distinctive ritual clothing, including aprons and other symbolic garments.

9. Progression Through Degrees or Worlds: Freemasonry uses degrees through which initiates advance. The LDS endowment presents participants with successive instructions, signs, tokens, and covenants as they advance through different "worlds" (degrees).

10. Instruction Through Symbolic Drama: Masonic initiation ceremonies use dramatized stories, particularly involving the building of Solomon's Temple and Hiram Abiff. LDS endowment ceremonies use a dramatized account of Creation, Adam and Eve, and humanity's return to God's presence.

11. Ritual Dialogue and Repeated Responses: Both traditions use structured exchanges between ceremonial officiators and participants, including prescribed questions, answers, and repeated phrases.

12. Symbolic Passage Through a Veil: The LDS endowment includes a veil representing passage into God's presence. Masonic ceremonies also use symbolic barriers, entrances, and passages to represent advancement into greater knowledge.

13. Use of a Mallet or Gavel: Freemasonry prominently uses gavels in its ritual work. When a candidate seeks entry into a locked Masonic lodge room, they or the inner guard will strike the door 3 times with a mallet or gavel. In LDS temple ceremonies, the 3 knocks from a mallet are incorporated as a signal at the veil to allow the person to enter into the presence of the Lord.

14. Sacred Knowledge Revealed Progressively: Both traditions introduce signs, tokens, words, and instructions in a prescribed sequence, with certain information reserved for initiated participants.

Then RESEARCH the Bible, and even the BOM, to find where those SAME ordinances were:

a) commissioned by God and

b) done by the people.

If you find anything, will you please message me your source?

Then ask yourself:

Where is the revelation from Joseph Smith to do temple work for dead people documented to have come from God?

I mean wouldn't God surely want that revelation made available for ALL His children to see and know what He requires to return back into His presence?

QUESTION #6: Have you ever compared the “great and spacious building” in Lehi’s dream found in 1 Nephi 8 to the current-day LDS temples?

In 1 Nephi 8, Lehi has a vision and every Mormon knows about it. It's called "Lehi's Vision of the Tree of Life." In that vision, he sees a "great and spacious building" that appears to be floating in the sky, and in front of that building, there are many fine-dressed people who are pointing and mocking the people who are partaking of the Tree of Life.

Have you ever compared that building to modern-day LDS temples?

There are too many “coincidental” similarities between the two like:

  • Grand Size – have you ever compared the size of an LDS temple to the surrounding homes and buildings? It’s MASSIVE. Truly the words “great and spacious” describe them.

  • Standing in the air – have you ever researched how many LDS temples are built so they look like they are “high above the earth?” Many are built on high hills or mountains, and the lighting makes it appear so. A few temples in the US have caused “distractions” due to people rubber necking to look at the temple “floating in the sky.” [Research San Diego and Washington DC temples.]

  • Fine dress – in order to enter an LDS temple, you must be in “Sunday dress” or in the words of the Book of Mormon, “their manner of dress was exceedingly fine.” No shorts, no jeans, no pants on women, and no “casual” or “immodest” clothing is allowed past the front desk. You must be in your "fine" apparel.

  • Mocking and Scoffing – although Mormons will deny this (I sure did!), as they attend the temple and do work for the dead, they are inwardly “mocking and scoffing” those who do not attend the temple. Yes, it’s true.

  • Pride of the World - In 1 Nephi 11:36, an angel tells Nephi that "the great and spacious building was the pride of the world." Is there pride in that building? ABSOLUTELY. It's the pride of, “We are doing what God wants us to do and you aren't. We are saving our dead and entering into sacred covenants required for exaltation. But don’t worry, after you die, we’ll do them for you too.”

    • This realization of my own pride when I attended the temple and believed those things has probably humbled me the most and asked God for forgiveness on many, many occasions. Of course, I would have denied it adamantly to your face when I was a Mormon but now I can see the Truth--only Jesus can save us and it is ONLY through Jesus that we enter Heaven. Not through a secret handshake, not with a sign, a token or a name. Jesus will be the one who gives me a NEW NAME. Not some rotation on a whiteboard in the basement of the temple depending on the date.

QUESTION #7: Have you ever considered the REAL reason you can’t talk about the LDS temple endowment and the “name, signs, tokens, and keywords” you receive?

Questions to research:

  • Have you ever measured and compared the endowment ceremony against the description in Ether 8 re: secret combinations? If not, read this post here.

  • Have you RESEARCHED the cover-ups of ritual abuse of its members by its members?

    • Many survivors of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) within the LDS Church are finally able to come forward and share their experiences because of We are the People Utah. Check out their website and survivor's testimonies here.

  • Are you aware of all of the lawsuits (settled and pending) against the LDS Church for sexual abuse? If not, check out this website.

  • Are you aware of the connection the LDS Church Leaders have with other (Cabal) leaders of the world and the “secret sign” they give each other?

QUESTION #8:  Why is the LDS Church so focused on the DEAD?

  • Where does Jesus ever tell us we have to save our DEAD through baptism or initiatories or endowments or sealings or any other ordinances?

  • Where in scripture does God ever send a DEAD person, even a relative, to deliver a message?

    • Research scriptures like: Deut 18:9-12, Leviticus 19:26, 31; 20:6, Isaiah 8:19; Luke 16:19-31.

Pertaining to the dead, Jesus specifically declares in Matthew 22:29-32:

“You are mistaken, since you do not understand the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God: ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

I can’t help but think that Jesus would be saying the same thing to the LDS Church—it does not understand the scriptures NOR the power of God.

1)    There is NO marriage in the resurrection, so no need to “seal” everyone to be married after death—it’s of no use.

2)    The power of God will raise the dead and save them—not the temple ordinances.

3)    The God they think they are serving by going to the temple is NOT a God of the living…but there IS a god of the dead, and that is satan.

So whenever work in the temple is done for DEAD people, the god you’re really serving is satan. Let that sink in.

QUESTION #9: Why don’t LDS missionaries go out and do what Jesus commissioned them to do if they are truly disciples of Jesus Christ?

Shouldn’t missionaries be doing the WORKS that Jesus commanded them to do?

In Mark 16:15-18 Jesus said:

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

So ask yourself, when was the last time you heard an RM talk about casting out demons from investigators, or laying hands on them and healing them, or speaking in new tongues?

I mean let's be honest. Those are the signs of a true believer of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Those are the works Jesus said will accompany those who believe in Him.

When was the last time you heard a talk in General Conference or in Sacrament meeting of a person sharing THOSE signs?

QUESTION #10: How do you reconcile the revelation of temple work from JS with the doctrine of Jesus Christ that He personally gives in 3 Nephi 11?

In 3 Nephi 11, Jesus declares 5 different times in that chapter that THIS is HIS doctrine:

  • Repent, become as a little child

  • Believe in Jesus Christ

  • Be baptized in the name of Jesus

  • Be saved and inherit the kingdom of God

Also notice in verse 35 that Jesus says the Father will “visit him with fire and with the Holy Ghost.” In other words, the Holy Ghost is NOT given by the laying on of hands from men. It is given only by the Father.

Now pay close attention to the concluding verses 39-40 where Jesus declares:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them. And whoso shall declare more or less than this, and establish it for my doctrine, the same cometh of evil, and is not built upon my rock; but he buildeth upon a sandy foundation, and the gates of hell stand open to receive such when the floods come and the winds beat upon them. Therefore, go forth unto this people, and declare the words which I have spoken, unto the ends of the earth.”

Did you catch that? Let me repeat it:

“And whoso shall declare more or less than this, and establish it for my doctrine, the same cometh of evil, and is not built upon my rock.”

  • Would you classify the requirement of temple ordinances to be saved to be “more than” what Jesus just declared His doctrine to be to inherit the kingdom of God?

  • Would you consider Mormon missionaries going out and teaching the story of the First Vision, the need to restore the “true church,” and the requirement for investigators to attend church before they can be baptized to be “more than” what Jesus just declared His doctrine to be?

Is so, then by Jesus’ own definition, that doctrine “cometh of evil.”

Think about it.

And now decide.

Do you believe the words of Jesus

-OR-

the words of the LDS Church?

You can’t believe both.

So pick one.

As for me, I choose to believe the words of Jesus Christ.

And when I believe the words of Jesus, I cannot believe the contradictory works done in the LDS Temples, the contradictory revelations from Joseph Smith, or the blatant disregard of helping the needy with its billions of dollars of increase from the LDS Church.

Jesus says in Matthew 5:24:

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mamon.”

So yes, because I love Jesus Christ of Nazareth, my Savior, Redeemer, and King, I hate the LDS Church, and all other churches.

Jesus never started a church.

Jesus never started a religion--not even Christianity.

Jesus invited us into the kingdom of God where there is no religion and no church.

Jesus showed us the works of the kingdom of God which are LIVING works, not DEAD works.

Jesus taught us the doctrines of the kingdom of God.

Jesus is the only way into the kingdom of God, and He doesn't need (or want) us to give Him any signs, tokens, or secret keywords. He only wants us to give Him our hearts.

No religion will save you.

No church will save you.

No prophet is immune from being "false" or a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

Beware who you believe.

Even if they are “canonized.”

Only Jesus is Truth.

Only Jesus is The Way back to God.

Only Jesus can save us and bring us into the kingdom of God.

It's All and Only Jesus ❤️‍🔥✝️🩸
