LDS Church, STOP Teaching False Doctrine About Covenants

This post is going to contain some recent titles/excerpts of LDS General Conference talks teaching the FALSE DOCTRINE FROM DEVILS of "covenants," masterfully woven with a little dash (or a lot) of truth here and there.

This is only a brief list that Jesus had me start…I was getting nauseous now that I can better discern His truth from the “doctrines of devils” so I wanted to stop.

I can't believe I never saw this before May 2024!!

But I guess that's what "indoctrination" does when you're born into it and only listen/watch/learn from The LDS Church.

I didn't know that I had been deceived by seducing spirits (preying on my love for my family and wanting to be with them forever), and the doctrine of demons that teaches in the LDS temples the need to enter into secret blood oaths and covenants to get into Heaven and be with your family forever. It's VERY evil and demonic doctrine because Satan preys on those who love their family deeply and who want to follow and serve God with all of their heart.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. 1 Timothy 4:1

In my case, I never "departed" from the faith. I was just never TAUGHT "the faith" to begin with. I believe the majority of LDS people are in the same boat I was in (which they call the "Old Ship Zion!").

Anyways, if you choose to read through this list I've accumulated, I'm wondering if YOU can discern the TRUTHS from the LIES?

HINT: Anything that refers to being or needing a “covenant” is the doctrine of demons because it REJECTS Jesus.

Jesus said that HE is the “new covenant,” through His blood in Luke 22:20,

“This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”

Any other covenant you enter into, especially those in the LDS Temples, REJECTS Jesus and His blood sacrifice as the new covenant.

So yes, LDS temples are ANTI-JESUS because they reject Jesus. Or in other words, they are ANTI-CHRIST.

Read thru these excerpts below (or NOT because they DO contain the teachings of demons) and be sure to ask the Holy Spirit to OPEN YOUR HEARTS and minds to the TRUTH - to Jesus - before proceeding.

Ask Yourself: Do these teachings ALIGN with what JESUS has taught us and when He said that HE is the New Covenant?

That's right.

The New Covenant is a person.

It's Jesus!

It's not a ceremony in a temple.

It's Jesus!

I plan to address his horrendous "doctrine" in another post, but suffice it to say for now, that he talks about how you need more than a personal relationship with God and Jesus to be saved, and to be "immune" to anyone telling you that's all you need. And then he teaches that Heavenly Father and His Son have a "covenantal love" and a "covenantal connection" with us...LIES!!!

  
  

OCTOBER 2025 General Conference:

• “Cheering Each Other On” teaches that we have a covenant obligation to love one another and strive for unity.

  
  

• “Be Reconciled to God” testifies “that making and keeping covenants makes our connection to the Savior strong, thereby avoiding becoming ripe for destruction.”

  
  

• “The Family-Centered Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

  • First paragraph: “The doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints centers on the family. Essential to our doctrine on the family is the temple. The ordinances received there enable us to return as eternal families to the presence of our Heavenly Father.”

NOTE: that it is the DOCTRINE of the Church, not of Jesus, as he clearly stated.

• Last paragraph: “I testify of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Only Begotten Son of God, our Eternal Father. He invites us to follow the covenant path that leads to a heavenly family reunion. The sealing powers of the priesthood, directed by the keys restored in the Kirtland Temple, bring families together for eternity.”

  
  

• “The Lord is Hastening His Work.”

  • "At various times in the history of the Church, there has been a significant increase in those who have entered the covenant path. One such period occurred between 1837 and 1850. We pray the blessings of heaven will attend your efforts to progress along the covenant path that leads to God the Father and Jesus Christ in the celestial kingdom."

  • With the necessary priesthood keys and the resources provided, saving ordinances are now available in most parts of the world. The missionaries have taught you the essential doctrine and explained the covenants and ordinances of the kingdom, which are set forth in the scriptures and in Preach My Gospel.

  • Receiving the ordinances and covenants and living the commandments are essential. Focus on the covenants necessary for exaltation. The gospel makes exaltation possible, which requires the making and keeping of sacred covenants with God. Except for baptism, confirmation, and the conferral of the Melchizedek Priesthood for men, the covenants we enter are performed in the temple. For the dead, each of these saving ordinances is performed only in the temple.

  • Accordingly, preparing yourself for the temple should be an immediate goal. Learning the pure doctrine of Jesus Christ is a lifelong pursuit, both in understanding doctrine and living a Christlike life.

  • Essential covenants provide a framework which we describe as the covenant path. These principles have been powerfully taught by President Nelson. All members, especially new and returning ones, would be blessed by studying and adopting his prophetic messages on covenants and the covenant path. If you set a goal of worthily receiving each covenant necessary for exaltation, you will be on the path that leads to the celestial kingdom.

  • The temple and the ordinances of the temple should be our focus. Most covenants are available to each individual. One covenant, eternal marriage, involves uniting your efforts with a companion. Our goal should be to find that eternal companion.

  • Following the Savior and His doctrine and teachings has never been easy in a world that is constantly in commotion. It was not easy for the Savior in the volatile world during His mortal sojourn, it was not easy for our early leaders and members, and it is not easy for us. Fortunately, living prophets provide the guidance we specifically need for our day. President Dallin H. Oaks will continue that spiritually powerful legacy. I testify that the doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ is eternal and true. I bear my sure and certain witness that Jesus Christ lives and because of His Atonement, we can be one with Him. In the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.

    
    

• “Humble Souls at Altars Kneel” summary: As we make and honor our covenants, we bind ourselves to the Savior, gaining greater access to His mercy, protection, sanctification, healing, and rest.

  
  

• “Simplicity in Christ” [This talk masterfully tells truth first, then adds the lies]: "The doctrine of Christ and the law of the gospel are so simple that even little children can understand them. We can access the redeeming power of Jesus Christ and receive all the spiritual blessings our Heavenly Father has prepared for us by exercising faith in Jesus Christ, repenting, being baptized, being sanctified through the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. [here comes the FALSE teaching by calling it what Jesus DID NOT CALL IT] President Nelson described this journey so beautifully as the “covenant path” and the process of becoming a “devout disciple of Jesus Christ.”

NOTE: Jesus called it "the way" in Matthew 7:13-14, NOT the "covenant path:"

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it"

According to Jesus:

• There is NO "covenant path" to Heaven, there is only "the way," and Jesus declared that HE is the way:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6

• There is NO "covenant discipleship," there are only "disciples:"

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations" Matthew 28:19

• There is NO "covenantal love", there is only the love by which Jesus loves us and died for each and every one of us:

"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.  Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends." John 15:12-13

It is my prayer and intention with this blog to expose the FALSE doctrine being taught in the LDS Church that does NOT align with the teachings of Jesus, in a feeble attempt to open the eyes of its members to LOOK to Jesus for salvation. Not a prophet. Not a temple. Not a covenant--unless that covenant is a person named Yahweh.

Only Jesus!
