How Are LDS Temples the "Corban Hypocrisy" Today?

JESUS JUST TAUGHT ME ABOUT “CORBAN” IN MARK 7

Then He told me to go teach and share it with you

So here you go

THE SITUATION:

Jesus’ disciples were eating bread. The scribes and the Pharisees asked Jesus why he was allowing them to eat with unclean hands, meaning ceremonially impure hands. Back in that day, there was a traditional ritual, passed down through oral, man-made laws, such as washing the cups, the pitchers, the utensils, the tables etc. and Jesus’ disciples had not done that. Therefore, the “church leaders” were questioning Jesus because “the tradition” (i.e. The Law) was not being followed.

Jesus responds in Mark 7:6-16 as follows:

Well hath Esaias [Isaiah] prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand: There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

WHAT I LEARNED FROM THAT SCRIPTURE:

• The people had rejected the commandment of God, which came from Moses, to honor (take are of) their parents or the penalty was death (very harsh if you ask me, but that was the commandment from God).

• The tradition had become: you don’t have to honor and take care of your parents financially if you’ve designated that money (in your mind) as “Corban.” [Corban in Hebrew means: a gift or offering consecrated to God.]

• Jesus was telling them that their tradition had made the word of God “of none effect.”

In other words, they had voided, cancelled and nullified the commandment of God by changing it to fit them. People didn’t have to take care of their parents financially if they just merely SAID the money was designated—NOT PAID--to God. This HYPOCRISY allowed people to ignore their duty to provide for their parents under the guise of a sacred vow, and Jesus CONDEMNED it.

• Jesus “CALLED ALL THE PEOPLE UNTO HIM,” and told them that nothing a person eats defiles them, but what comes out them does.

Jesus then asked me, “What comes out of people?”

I replied, “Words.”

Jesus replied, “Yes, words, teachings, sayings—things that are spoken and TAUGHT.”

Then the Holy Spirit “downloaded” into my mind so many things at once—it’s hard to explain, but hopefully you know what I mean—so I’ll do my best to explain in words as follows:

MY DOWNLOAD FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT

Jesus was letting me know that LDS temples are verses 6-9 where people are going there and saying they are worshiping Him, but it’s only in vain because He has never told them to do that. So even though there are many people who honestly believe they are going to the LDS temple to worship the Lord, they are worshiping the true Lord ‘in vain’ because He is not there.

They ARE worshiping a "lord" when they go to the temple, but it's not The Lord they think it is. The TRUE God is one over the LIVING, not the DEAD, so the LDS temple is not one of HIS temples, and He has never commissioned His disciples to do work for the dead. LDS Temple attendance and worship is the doctrine of men.

Jesus has never told us to go and worship Him in temples ever since:

  1. He over turned the tables of the temple and called it a “den of thieves.” Jesus declared that the temple was a house of PRAYER, not a house to do works for the dead in.

And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ” Matthew 21:13

  1. At the Last Supper, He tells His disciples that His blood is now the NEW Covenant. (Matt 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20)

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.  For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.  Matthew 26:27-28

  1. At the moment of His death, the veil of the temple in Jerusalem was torn in two—from top to bottom—to symbolize the END of the old sacrificial system performed in temples and that the BARRIER between God and man was now REMOVED, thus allowing direct access to God through Jesus’ sacrifice. (Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, and Luke 23:45)

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;  and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. Matthew 27:51-53

PONDER: Did those dead people who came out of their graves already have their temple ordinances done so they could appear to many?

  1. At the moment of His death, He was the LAST sacrifice ever needed for our sins and to be reconciled to God.

but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. Hebrews 9:26, 28

  1. Paul teaches that our INDIVIDUAL BODY is a temple and that the Holy Spirit is IN us:

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify [worship] God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

LDS TEMPLES ARE THE CORBAN HYPOCRISY TODAY:

God’s NEW covenant is Jesus Christ. His blood. You receive the NEW covenant when you receive Jesus, and you receive Him via your own body, your own temple—you don’t have to go anywhere.

LDS leaders teach that you must go to the LDS temple and receive covenants in order to be saved. This is a LIE.

CORBAN HYPOCRISY TODAY: When people go to the LDS temples and enter into covenants there through secret blood oaths, and then return to do them for dead people, and they think (mostly innocently and naively) that they are following God’s commandment, but according to God, they aren't. This sounds harsh and mean, but God is not one to be mocked, nor is He one to accept idolatry. LDS Temples are idolatry in the most evil way because they pose as temples to the Most High God, Yehovah, but they are temples to Satan, and the people HAVE NO IDEA what they are doing.

THE DOCTRINE OF FALSE PROPHETS, FALSE APOSTLES, AND MAN HAS LED THEM ASTRAY AND MADE VOID THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD.

How do we KNOW?

Because what comes out of the mouth of the LDS Leaders (their words and teachings) are NOT in alignment with what Jesus said, so it is DEFILING them.

“If any man have ears, let him hear.”

So please, I am urging and pleading with those who have ears to hear the words of Jesus:

Stop rejecting His blood and His crucifixion by going to LDS temples.

You are rejecting Jesus, and I know you don't want to be doing that.

So please, hear Jesus. Listen to Jesus. Believe Jesus. Not the president and leaders of a man-made organization whose words are defiling them.

Please, only Jesus.
