Does Your Church Do Deliverance?

When was the last time you witnessed a demon being cast out in Jesus’ name?

Sunday at church, right?

If not, you may want to reconsider the “believers” you’re hanging out with because Jesus said,

“And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons;” (Mark 16:17)

So when was the last time you heard an apostle or prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints cast out a demon?

You're probably going to say "Joseph Smith cast out demons" and you would be right...but who since then? Oaks? Nelson? Monson? Hinckley? McKay? Go back through the General Conference talks and find me ONE STORY in those talks where someone cast out a demon--and then please send it to me.

Only Jesus has the power to cast out demons and He has given that authority to ALL His believers to do the same--not just apostles or prophets.

So when was the last time YOU cast out a demon?

When was the last time YOU had a demon cast out of you?

I PROMISE you that you have demons--no matter how "good" or how "Christian" or how recently you've "born again." You have demons. I have demons. They take any and every opportunity to enter us.

Church should be a place where every week you are cleaned out of the demons who got in you that week.

Demons are legalists.

I promise you, they find a way in.

Especially when you don't think or believe they have or can.

GET DELIVERED.
